Emily & Jam | Wedding Preview

The best thing about moving to a new town, or country is meeting new people. If you can find a group of people that are as crazy and passionate as you are then I think your winning. So far I’ve met and had the of pleasure working with so many lovely florists, makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers and videographers in Hawkes Bay. This styled shoot was no exception, It was a collaboration of ideas from Myself, Makeup artist Bernadette and Florist Jackie all of which are based in Central Hawke’s Bay.
Massive thank you to our beautiful model Emma her beautiful (brown) horse Hank and loaned (white) horse Marama .

Mark & Bernie’s rustic Central Hawke’s Bay wedding was held at the farm where Bernie grew up in Wallingford. I arrived at Bernie’s parents house which was packed to the rafters with bridesmaids, make up artists and hairdressers. It was such a lovely, busy morning with last minute preparations to the garden marquee also taking place. I also managed a visit out to Porangahau beach to find Mark and his groomsmen getting ready.
The sun came out just in time for the wedding ceremony which took place under the shade of a big old oak tree. Bernie & Mark tied the knot surrounded by friends and family, it was a beautiful atmosphere.
The sun then shone for the rest of the day, the drink flowed and there was happiness everywhere you looked. I loved every part of this wedding.

Heather and Nathan married at Parr Street Church in Kendal, Cumbria followed by a reception at Low Wood Bay Resort, Windermere in July last year. Just after the service we ventured up to Loughrigg Tarn in the Lake District for some bridal portraits with an epic back drop. I love it when my couples are keen to climb fences in their wedding gear!

I spent the morning at Beth’s parents beautiful 17th Century farmhouse in the Lancashire countryside. Beth and her bridesmaids then made their way to Chipping Congregational Church where her fiancé, Phil, was waiting patiently along with a huge congregation – the room was packed full to the brim of family & friends. After a beautiful ceremony Beth, Phil and their bridal party braved the weather and ventured out into the fields for some photographs, Special thanks has to go to some very officiant friends of the bride who were there with 4×4’s, brollies and plastic sheeting to keep the dresses clean(ish). The reception was held at Chipping Village Hall. I’ve been here three times now and each time I rock up, i’m amazed at how different the hall can look. Its a great space to put your mark on.
